GWR Brake Van
Small but perfectly formed
With its large picture window filling an end wall the Brake Van has a prime view overlooking the whole station site giving guests a ring side seat to witness the ever changing countryside views.
We supply binoculars for guests who would like to pick out birds and other wildlife.
Hidden Assets
While the kitchen and entrance area provides the views across the station site, the main salon is more a private space providing a comfortable environment complete with wood paneling and heritage fittings.
Kitchenette
The kitchen facilities in the Brake Van are small but perfectly formed, consisting of:
a two-ring gas hob with extraction fan,
an under-counter fridge/freezer,
a kettle, microwave oven and a toaster
the sink & drainer,
along with all the usual pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
Shelves above the kitchen top houses our complimentary caddies and condiments.
Salon Facilities
This salon area comes equipped with its own wifi connectivity, projection TV system, dimmable heritage wall lamps and full en suit bathroom facilities.
For guest storage there are shelves, coat hangers and a large storage area in an under-bed drawer.
Also in the main salon is the projector TV providing Netflix with paid subscription, UK catch-up channels and other online channels.
En-suite Bathroom
The en-suite bathroom is a key feature completing this self-contained space.
This modern en suit bathroom contains all the feature you would expect including a large shower area, heated, dimmable mirror and heated towel rail.
